I did RIDE from the Xtrain series today. For those that have Cycle Max, this workout is very similar (in the same way that one spin class is similar to another). I think she does a bit more standing in this one. The music is like the music in Cycle Max. It is mostly covers of top 40 songs with the words changed (Katy Perry, Pink, Rhianna, etc). The workout is about 55 minutes long, including a 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down/stretch. RIDE includes a timer on the screen to let you know how much time is left for each song. The workout is 11 songs long. She does jumps, standing and sitting runs, standing and sitting climbs.
I LOVE Cycle Max. So I am thrilled that this one is similar. For me it's a great workout that gives me a good cardiovascular challenge while my body gets a day off from high impact. I'm happy to have a second spin workout to alternate with in my rotation. But, if you are satisfied with having just one Cathe cycle workout, you aren't missing anything by not having both.
