This disc contains two workouts, both done in a gorgeous outdoor set overlooking the city. Owen leads these workouts in voiceover and there are 2 backgrounders that give you a side view of their form. The disc also includes a w/u & c/d and music options. You will only need a kettlebell for these workouts and they are performed barefoot. The set comes in a very nice secure cardboard book that keeps the discs safely in place.

Workout One: (20 min) This workout is comprised of 16 sets of swings. You perform a two handed swing for 30 seconds which is followed by 45 seconds of active rest/

Workout Two: (16 min) This is a five exercise circuit; each exercise is performed for 30 seconds followed 30 seconds of active recovery. Exercises include: deadlifts, rows, goblet lunges, sling shot, plank. Each circuit is followed by a one minute recovery.

Owen does an excellent job of providing form pointers just when you need them! I LOVE that he is face on and the girls are profile view so you really can see how to properly execute each move. These are straight to the point workouts that really get the heartrate up with strength work. This set is perfect for the beginner through advanced exerciser as it includes an instructional dvd and you can easily adjust the intensity of your workout depending on the weight of your bell. And because they are timed intervals- you can go at your own pace. Cant wait to try the other workouts!!! I received this dvd to review.

This is the first disk of the set. It consists of 2 workouts. All the videos are filmed overlooking the city with a beautiful view. The instructor, Owen, performs all the exercises facing the camera. He has 2 female background assistants that perform the exercises in profile.

The first workout consists of 2 handed swings. Swing for 30 seconds and rest for 45 seconds. This goes on for 20 minutes. I find this to be a fairly boring exercise routine, but it also seems to be effective. I felt it in my core the next day.

The second routine consists of 5 different exercises. These give a full body workout. The participants perform all the exercises in real time. This was a lot more enjoyable of a workout, but it didn't seem to be as intense as the swings. I didn't feel it the next day.

The view is great in all the videos. However, in each video, the camera boom swings in through the screen. I know this is intentional and they think it adds to the cinematic effect, to me it distracts me from the content. I also feel that the ladies that are assisting with the video don't seem to have great form. One of the ladies also seems to have an arrogance that is very off putting to me.

Over all it is a good set of routines that I feel I've gotten a lot out of. I'm happy that these are in my collection and part of my fitness routine.

Instructor Comments:
Owen does a great job demonstrating all the exercises. He has assistants on each side working out in profile. He interjects form tips throughout the routine. However I would like to have more instruction in the workouts. There is a how-to DVD, but I think it would be much better off to have instruction on each DVD.
