This is by far my favorite prenatal workout. It's short enough not to tire me out, but long enough to be effective. There are 5 programmable programs: Breathing & Core Awareness; Cardio; 2nd Trimester Toning; 3rd Trimester Toning; and a bonus Post Natal ab workout. I've used the Cardio and 2nd Trimester Toning sections the most (including in the 1st trimester). I expect to use the 3rd Trimester Toning when the time arrives, though I selected it once by accident and found it quite good, especially the seated ab exercises.

The music is pleasant and unobtrusive, the background exercisers are all in the 2nd or 3rd trimester and fit, and the routines are simple but effective. Cardio does TIFT, but it's over before it can really annoy you and the steps are fun even though Denise is not the best cuer. The Toning sections are full body workouts using light weights with modifications to accommodate 2nd or 3rd trimester limitations.

In all, the best prenatal fitness purchase I've made.

Instructor Comments:
This is the first Denise Austin workout I've ever owned, and I was prepared to not like her based on memories watching her TV show with a roommate back in the 80s who taped her TV segments. She's nowhere near that perky and squeaky now, and I find her encouraging on the days I'm feeling tired but still want to do something besides sit on the couch.
