This is one of the few Mark Blanchard workouts I can do all the way through without feeling like a total wimp. Thatís not to say I donít modify here and there, because this is one tough workout. Itís an hour and 40 minutes. The first hour is standing poses, broken up with lots of vinyasas. He doesnít go at breakneck speed, which I appreciate. He gives you time to adjust in the positions and get some benefit from them. But you do work very, very hard! The next 30-35 minutes is seated and lying poses, which I consider my reward for getting through the first hour. :) He includes a nice long shoulderstand/plow sequence which is wonderful. At the very end is a long, well-deserved svasana with a guided meditation where you envision energy moving up through the chakras. Class participants include Markís 65-year-old mother and a 12-year-old boy. Grade A+.
