Steady State Step is a fun workout and I'm looking forward to doing it again, BUT there are some serious issues with it.

The Good -- I love Tracey's music selection. This workout used instrumental versions of music from the '70's, like Stevie Wonder, Chicago, and others. It had a great beat. The moves were fun, and a lot of them were very new to me, which made it feel fresh. There are lots of options shown to increase or decrease intensity. Tracey's background exercisers are great.

The Bad -- I'm not sure I've ever done a workout that was so poorly edited and produced! There were huge errors made by Tracey that were not edited out, they were seriously off the beat during a few sections, and there are several periods of 5 to 10 seconds where all you see is the face of one of the background exercisers, or their disembodied feet on the step. Tracey's cuing is not always good, and sometimes is non-existent. You get the impression in a few spots that she's making it up as she goes along.

Like I said, I enjoy this workout, and I'm glad I have it. It's a shame that they production and cuing wasn't better because it could have been one of the all-time greats, in my opinion.

Instructor Comments:
Tracey is very engaging, and I really like her personality. Her cuing is spotty, at best. All in all, it's obvious that she is having a wonderful time.
