This informational video (about 90 minutes long) deals with 17 common sports-related injuries, such as twisted ankle, shin splints, knee injuries, back pain, neck and shoulder pain, injuries to the hand/wrist.

Dr James Garrick discusses the injuries, their treatment (and prevention), and Jane Fonda demonstrates the exercises suggested for aiding recovery and strengthening weak areas. The information is presented clearly. Throughout, it is emphasised that you should consult your medical practitioner immediately if in doubt, and in the case of particular symptoms.

I watched this tape all the way through and found it interesting and informative. I don't think I would have been inclined to buy a book on the subject, and I find the advantage of the video is seeing someone demonstrating what to do, rather than trying to follow written instructions.
