This is one of the most fun tapes you can do if you're into high-impact. The music is hip-hop/funky and it really makes you want to move. But the steps are NOT complicated. A beginner will have no trouble with the
at first. Low-impact moves could be substituted for much of it, although the instructors don't show them.

I've had this tape for years, and I'm not tired of it yet! It's a full 60 minutes, but it flies by. I find that the type of music played in any video is a big factor in my motivation and "fun level," so if you're like me and like music with a catchy beat that makes you want to dance, you'll like this one.

My only *small* criticism of this video is at the very last, in the cooldown. The cooldown consists of two combos -- Charles' combo and Donna's combo. I think Donna's is repeated too many times before they finally combine the
two into one combo. Not a major thing.

Instructor Comments:

Charles and Donna make a good team. They alternate teaching combos, and then they combine them. Charles is perhaps the "star" of this video -- he's a little better at cueing, and he executes the moves better. But that's not to say Donna is bad! I think this may be her first video (it's from 1991). She's more polished now.
