This is a power yoga workout led by Lisa Bennett, senior instructor for Yoga Zone. This DVD is very lower body focused, with lots of lunges, chair poses, and the like. It's not a very fast paced DVD, but it's not slow either. I would call the pace just right. The practice is set in Jamaica and Lisa is accompanied by two other students - a male showing advanced postures and a female showing the less advanced modifications. Lisa shows the poses somewhere in the middle.
Various poses included are down dog, sun salutations, warrior one, warrior two, crescent, one triangle series, one warrior three pose, a few balancing poses, crow, bridge, pidgeon, etc. I believe all the pose have been broken down here somewhere.
PROS: liked the music and setting. The instruction was good. She also had a great sense of humor and would make light jokes. This was a great athletic style yoga workout.
CONS: fast instruction for the advanced poses like crow. I wish she would have built up to that pose, since it was more advanced than the others. I felt she took her time explaining the basic poses and just flew into this one. I felt they could have spent more time in savasana as well. Also, sometimes she seemed like she talked too much, too fast.
