This is a 35 minute power yoga workout led by Kirsten with 4 background exercisers. Lisa Kay does the beginner modifications. The set is the BSS3 set; they are each on their own round pedestal, white background w/ color changing logo. You will only need an optional yoga mat for this workout.

Kirsten is a good lead but wouldnt be a favorite of mine (I want to like her more than I do). But she really does do an excellent job with this dvd. It is definatley made for non-yoga people, she doesnt even use yoga terminology. For example, she says runners lunge instead of warrier, etc. She also emphasises that doing this workout will improve your flexibility and therefore improve your performance in your other workouts.

The workout moves along at a nice pace and while some of the positions are repeated its not over-repetitive like some yoga dvds can be. One of the segments has a lot of ab-centric moves so you will get some core work in. The workout has a more athletic feel than most yoga workouts IMO.

I would rate this as a beginner yoga workout. A great introduction for those interested in trying out yoga. Its a good option for me, a cardio/ strength training exerciser who doesnt really care for yoga but knows I should get it in every now and then.
