Categories: Circuit Training (cardio and weights)

This workout has already been thoroughly broken down by others, so I am just going to add my (very positive!) reviews. This is a Firm compilation made up of several super videos: Firm Cardio (Heidi Tanner); Firm Strength (Pam Cauthen); Super Sculpt (Nancy Tucket); Super Cardio (Jen Carmen, Dale Brabham); Fat Blaster (Allie Del Rio); Maximum Body Sculpting (Tracie Long); Basic Sculpting with Weights (Tracie Long). The basic rhythm of the video was to rotate between a cardio and a strength segment for several circuits then go down to the floor for an extra long inner thigh, table work, and ab circuit.

This is a great video. It reminds me of Tough Tape 2 because it uses a lot of the same source videos, but I consider it a step up because it includes cardio and floor/ab work (making it a longer video at 67 minutes). And it feels complimentary to TT2 because it uses different selections than TT2. I use this regularly and it is really intense. The cardio sections are particularly intense – all plyos!! There are two leg press sections but shorter sets, along with lunges, dips, squats, inner thigh and glute concentration on the floor, and various arm work. I felt it was a very well rounded strength + cardio routine.

In comparison with Firm videos, I would consider this one of the most advanced of the pre-Goodtime offerings. Like I said the intensity of the cardio really brought it into the high intermediate-advanced level. Highly recommended, especially for Firm fans. The usual high production quality, music synchronization, and good instructor cuing that can be expected with the Firm. Mansion and library settings with large classes. Grade A.

Instructor Comments:
There is a big collection of Firm master instructors in this video because it is a compilation. However I think all of the instructors are excellent and have good cuing and good form. I can’t even pick a favorite! Heidi, Tracie, Pam, Nancy, Allie, Jen – they chose a lot of my favorites for this video.
