This may be the “easiest” of Rodney Yee’s workouts – at least strength-wise. It’s just over an hour of slower-paced poses starting with a few sun salutations, progressing through the standing poses, and finally seated/lying down poses. It’s not a sweat-producer like Power Yoga, but it definitely gets you all stretched out and leaves you feeling relaxed and energized. I was really surprised on how much I liked it – of course, I like pretty much all of Rodney’s tapes, so I don’t know why I was surprised. I guess because I usually prefer the Power Yoga style workouts. But this one is most definitely a keeper. Although it’s a little long (about 70 minutes), you completely lose track of time while doing it. The setting is wonderful, too – Maui. Grade A.
