Teri Jory
Year Released: 2007

Categories: Ballet/Barre

This is a basic, 35 minute workout that is good for a beginner new to exercise. Basic production in a studio with nondestinct music. It has the following chapters:

Warmup: Very basic with deep breathing, head rolls and neck stretches.

First Position: Here Teri explains proper form before getting into the exercises.

Abs, Pelvic Floor, Legs: One person demonstrates as Teri instructs. Knee to chest, modified v-sits, sit up variations and twisted side leg lifts will work your abdominals and tone your thighs.

Pelvic Floor Release, Arms: Different variations of push ups & isometric holds are used to tighten all areas of the arms.

Bar Stretch: You can use a ballet bar or a chair for this segment. Basic stretches for legs and sides of the body are shown.

Cool Down: Slow movements into a short stretch segment end the session.

Nothing fancy, just easy to follow exercises that would work for a beginner.
