After doing Cathe Friedrich’s straightforward style strength training, I just don’t have the patience for this type of workout. It’s up-and-down, get-this, get-that, on and on. You spend way too much time changing positions and/or equipment, and you’ll probably have to pause the video often to do so. The good points are it’s a total body strength workout in about 50 minutes, and there’s none of the Firm-style cardio, which I find totally boring. The instructors are Dale Brabham, Nancy Tucker, Carissa Foster (my favorite), and Jennifer Carmen. I’m almost certain this is a “Parts” video compiled from other Firm tapes, although it doesn’t say that on the cover. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen some of these segments in other workouts. I have no problem with “Parts” tapes, but I know some people don’t like that. Overall, it’s a nice workout, but I wish they had sequenced it so that there wasn’t so much changing around.
