Ballet Beautiful Classic 60 Minute Workout

This workout has already been broken down. I didn't mind the screens popping up between sections, I thought that was good so that if you didn't want to do the whole workout then you could pick what sections you would like. I like the bridge section which is very brutal with lots of variations, inner thigh which I liked because a lot of dvds don't focus on inner thigh and outer thigh was good as well. I wasn't so sure of the ab section which just seemed short. I did modify with squishy ball behind my back because shes not in a c curve shes higher and that did not feel comfortable on my back. Arms was OK, my arms were sore today but it mostly focuses on anterior shoulder and triceps. Standing is mostly plies.

I think this is a great workout for people looking for floor workouts or who can't do squats and lunges. I like the classical music and I found I felt good after the workout was done.

Things I didn't like: barely no stretching! make sure you add some. Uneveness of workout. I would definitely add other workouts since some areas are worked to exhaustion and other areas aren't worked hard at all. I think it would be a good dvd to rotate with barre workouts, since it focuses on a lot of areas that most barre dvds don't

Instructor Comments:
Mary Helen can be annoying because she counts throughout. It didn't drive me too crazy, but I could see how it would be annoying. She really doesn't cue much except to count and to tell you to have some water
