I had this workout back in the day. I'm not sure why I ever got rid of it, but I found it at a thrift store for 50 cents and it was a trip down memory lane to do it again. It felt very easy when I was doing it, so I was pleasantly surprised that my heart rate got as high as it did. I thought it would be like doing a Leslie, but the variety of moves and higher impact added some much needed oomph. I added 1 pound weights to up the ante.

The moves vary from high knee marches to jacks to side to side and the like, nothing complicated choreographically. At one pound Gilad slides off his mat and it throws off the workout so much he says "just do your own thing for 30 seconds" and then he picks it up from there. I liked that they kept that blooper in there. It makes me smile every time I see it, and it keeps it "real". :)

All in all it's 30 minutes of intermediate cardio - nice for a time crunched day or to string along with another short workout.

Overall grade: B+

Instructor Comments:
Gilad is a likable goof.
