I'm an intermediate exerciser. I am not a ballet or barre enthusias., I have trouble incorporating regular barre or ballet sculpting type workouts into my routine because I prefer traditional weights. However, I do enjoy "themed" cardio, like strip aerobics or bollywood inspired cardio. I got this workout because it looked like fun ballet-inspired cardio, without being actual ballet. It was exactly what I was looking for. It really is a lot of fun! I didn't like the costumes or high heeled shoes. The heels made it hard to tell when they were in releve'. They should have worn ballet flats, if anything. I do it barefoot and that works great for me.
The biggest "con" of this workout are that it's sold as a "legs" workout, when it's really just cardio. It wouldn't be my first choice for a leg-specific workout.
Instructor Comments:
I thought Leisa's instructions and cues were fine. I agree with the others, she had one graceful background exerciser with better form than hers. But I thought Leisa did a good job, considering I just wanted a fun workout and didn't care much about technique.
