I only bought this video for the music. I knew
Richard Simmons was better suited for a beginner, but I
thought I could turn the moves into
higher-energy/higher-impact and have a good time dancing
to the music. It contains upbeat oldies like "Devil
With A Blue Dress," "Mony Mony,"
"Dance To The Music," and many other good ones.
But the movements are done very slowly and were difficult
to turn into high-impact. For example, when trying to
turn a march into a jog, it was just too slow to be done
comfortably. So, after a few tries at this, I decided to
put it in my Waiting For A Garage Sale pile. However, if
you're a beginning exerciser who likes this type of
music, I would definitely recommend it.
