A set of two informational/motivational audio tapes (about 2½ hours long), based on the book "Kathy Smith's Fat Burning System". Kathy Smith discusses starting an exercise programme, staying motivated, nutrition, and body image. At intervals throughout the tape she gives tips on starting a walking programme. There is also a short, guided relaxation.
Kathy Smith emphasises that the key to permanent success is to make gradual changes to one's lifestyle, so that they become natural and therefore more likely to be maintained. She gives the listener plenty of encouragement and lots of interesting information and tips.
