It's been awhile since I've bought a Sara's City video, and I was happy to see that the video quality has improved somewhat over the past few years. The picture is not as grainy and the sound is better and more consistent. We're still not talking movie quality, but good enough for me.
This is a 40-minute step workout followed by lecture. The 40 minutes includes a 5-minute (each) warmup and cooldown. Gay teaches 4 combos, TIFTing from time to time, but not too much. If the workout had been any longer, I probably would have gotten bored, but this was the perfect length for the choreography. The choreography and intensity are both intermediate to high-intermediate -- I would not call this an advanced workout, in spite of the name. The music is okay, perhaps slightly above average. Some of it has a Latin feel to it. I enjoyed doing this workout. It's great for time-crunched days or for combining with some strength or other work. Grade A-.
